Holly Willoughby Is Tipped For A Major New TV Role And Fans Are *So* Ready For It
She's "the number one choice".
Holly Willoughby is reportedly set to co-present the next season of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! on ITV if usual host, Ant McPartlin, isn’t well enough for the job.
Ant, and his best friend Declan Donnelly, usually spend six weeks of the year hosting the reality show in Australia, but since Ant’s recent admittance into rehab for prescription drug abuse, Dec may need a new colleague on board.
Producers of the show think Holly would be the best person to step in if Ant doesn’t feel ready to return to work in November.
An insider told the Daily Star, “I’m a Celeb is ITV’s biggest show of the year so they’re keen to get a plan in place should Ant want to continue his down time. Holly is the number one choice, she’s the nation’s favourite and already a huge fan of the show – the perfect Jane of the jungle to Dec’s Tarzan!
“Building on-screen chemistry and relationships is what Holly does best, which is perfect for the jungle.”
While fans are hoping that Ant recovers quickly, there’s an air of excitement about Holly taking up this new role. Her genuine and lovable character is refreshing to watch, and one person even tweeted, “I’d still watch I’m a celeb if Holly was presenting! I sometimes watch this morning because her and Phil are gas ? “.
