Insta Creep: A Love Island Star Has Defended Her Choice To Wear A Full Face Of Makeup While Giving Birth…

What all the celebs are up to on social, from A to Z listers.

In our gossip column, we indulge our nosiest desires and delve deep into what the celebs (and ‘celebs’) are doing on social media. Who’s tweeting and deleting? Who’s shady faving? Let’s find out.

Former Love Island star Hannah Elizabeth has had to defend herself for putting on a full face of makeup right after giving birth.

Hannah had her son Reggie two weeks ago, and shared photos of the moments after the birth in which she is holding the baby in her hospital bed, hair blow dried and false lashes on.

Commenters were immediately incensed, saying things like: “Imagine putting on your makeup and doing your hair after having pushed out a baby instead of cuddling it.”

Responding to one comment, Hannah said: “Yes haters I did have makeup on after giving birth. Actually I had a curly blow, pin curls, the lot. I wasn’t gonna meet my son for the first time and best day of my life rough, was I?”

I had a C-section so birth was planned, chilled and AMAZING… Apparently you shouldn’t take time from your baby to ‘cake makeup on’. So when the nurse says to get up and go for a shower, freshen up, you’re meant to just lie in the bed sweating?

The shite talk around mothers and babies is so annoying that we almost want to go into the labour ward fake tanned and blow dried to the gills just to rile them. You do you, Hannah.

Hilary Duff is giving us some glimpses into grown-up Lizzie McGuire’s look.

The actress is reprising her iconic role for a new show on Disney+, which will follow a now 30-year-old Lizzie as she tries to make it as an interior designer in New York.

While she may be an adult now, Lizzie still retains some of her idiosyncratic teen style – and Hilary has cut the feathery bangs back in:

Speaking to Allure, Hilary said that Lizzie’s style has evolved somewhat, but we’ll still see “nods” to her 2000s fashion.

“Lizzie’s gonna have that one splurge jacket that’s going to stick with her all season long that she makes match with everything. She’s going to be a flea market shopper and a Brooklyn cool girl,” she revealed.

We won’t get a full look until next year, unforch, so you’ll have to wait until then to see if the butterfly clips make an appearance.

Kim K’s friend and makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic came out as a gay man while accepting an award last night, accompanied by Kim herself.

Mario used his speech at the American Influencer Awards to open up about his sexuality, admitting that he broke down recently on his mother’s 73rd birthday.

“I told her finally that I had spent my entire life and childhood suppressing my thoughts, suppressing my dreams, my feelings, my creativity and trying to be invisible so no one would know how I’m feeling inside,” he said.

Mario’s family is of Albanian heritage, and he paid tribute to the “little boys and girls growing up with pain and fear” as he did, afraid that their culture or family would judge them.

I stand here for the first time in my life as a proud 37-year-old gay man… I finally feel that bright light that I’ve been dreaming of my whole life is pouring from my soul around my body and it’s mine. I can now live the life that I deserve, and right now I feel true happiness.

That is lovely. Congratulations, Mario!

And now it’s time for… #WilloughbyWatch

Charting the public’s obsession with what Holly Willoughby is wearing.

This is one of our favourite looks Holly has sported in a while (though we’d have switched out the beige shoes for pink or plum) – the skirt is by Essentiel Antwerp and costs €185 big ones, while the silk Kate Spade shirt is €295.

As usual, we are at odds with Holly’s followers, who aren’t really into the outfit at all. “Sorry Holly, you look like my nan. That colour just isn’t for you,” wrote one. Sheesh.
