Kanye West’s political crisis continues apace – he’s come to the conclusion that he’s being ‘used’ to spread messages that he doesn’t believe in.

Last night, the rapper distanced himself from the ‘Blexit’ movement, originated by Trump supporter Candace Owens, which asks black Americans to leave the Democratic party.

“I support creating jobs and opportunities for people who need them most, I support prison reform, I support common-sense gun laws that will make our world safer,” he tweeted.

I support those who risk their lives to serve and protect us and I support holding people who misuse their power accountable. I believe in love and compassion for people seeking asylum and parents who are fighting to protect their children from violence and war.

That’s… quite the U-turn for a man who hugged Donald Trump in the Oval Office last month, right? Whatever could it mean.
