Lily Allen had to preemptively reveal a very personal story from her upcoming book after it was leaked to the Daily Mail.

In My Thoughts Exactly, Lily talks about her ‘dark days’ after the release of her 2014 album Sheezus and the dissolution of her marriage to Sam Cooper, and admitted that she slept with female escorts while she was on tour.

Writing on Instagram, she said someone who had read the book ahead of its release this month had given the story to the Mail, so she decided to get ahead of it:

I slept with female escorts when I was on tour, cause I was lost and lonely and looking for something. I’m not proud, but I’m not ashamed. I don’t do it anymore. The Mail are gonna run with the story tomorrow cause someone leaked it, and they’re bound to make sound worse than it was. Just wanted to give you er, the ‘heads up’!

Bet the DM are RAGING she released the story on her own terms. Fair play Lily.

We love a good conspiracy theory, don’t you? But alas, Kim says there’s no substance to the one about her being the ‘Kiki’ Drake sings about on In My Feelings.

According to this viral fan theory, the clues were there all along – Kim’s sisters call her ‘Kiki’, they had matching Instagram captions one time, and Drake and Kanye are allegedly beefing, but no one is sure what about.

Commenting under a video about the rumours on the Instagram gossip account The Shade Room, Kim shut it all down, or attempted to at least:

“Never happened. End of story.” We’d be inclined to believe her, TBH.
