Is Jamie Lynn Spears Going To Drop Out Of I’m A Celeb?

Looks like there’s trouble in the jungle!

Rumours are swirling that Jamie Lynn Spears may be about to drop out of I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here!.

A source allegedly told The Sun that producers are wary of Jamie Lynn’s behaviour behind the scenes.

The crew are reportedly concerned Jamie Lynn may be a “flight risk”, opting to leave the show early.

“Away from the cameras and scenes that aired on TV, it’s her behaviour in camp that has become obvious to crew,” said the source.

“She has kept herself somewhat separate, not really socialising — and stayed in bed.”

They also stressed that Jamie Lynn is more isolated from the group as the only American, without being able to make the instant connections the others can by being familiar with one another.

The Zoey 101 star landed in the Australian outback just yesterday to start her adventure on the show.

Jamie Lynn was accompanied by JLS band member Marvin Humes and Hollyoaks actor Nick Pickard, as they arrived via a petrifying skydive from 15,000 feet in the air.

Soon after, they were put through their first icky challenge.

The trail involved Jamie Lynn being strapped into a plastic box filled with bugs and spiders, where she had to match letters to make jungle themed words.

She did well overall in the trial, though she seemed to get frustrated toward the end when she struggled to find the right words.

Later, back at the camp, Jamie Lynn met her fellow contestants, and it became clear that she wasn’t familiar with many of the faces.

This Morning’s Josie Gibson made an effort to include Jamie Lynn by introducing herself, saying “I’m a TV presenter.”

Jamie Lynn said: “That’s awesome.”

Josie added: “I work on this show called This Morning. It’s so fun, it’s so good. Fred, do you know who Fred is? He’s a restaurateur. Ever watched First Dates? It’s brilliant.”

Later, she said to Jamie Lynn, “Nigel, do you know who Nigel is? Nigel is an MP.”

Jamie Lynn asked: “What’s that mean?”

To which Josie replied: “He’s an ex-politician.”

Josie also tried to ask Jamie Lynn a little about her family, possibly in the hopes that the latter may address her sister, Britney Spears.

However, Jamie Lynn appeared awkward, and gave monotone answers in response.

Josie asked Jamie Lynn: “Who got you into music then?”

Jamie Lynn said: “I’ve always kind of been into music, you know what I mean?”

Josie asked: “Very musical family, aren’t you?”

Jamie Lynn replied: “Yeah.”

Josie said: “Was your grandma into it?”

Jamie Lynn replied: “My mum played the piano a lot.”

Well…we reckon someone will ask straight out about Britney before too long.

But will Jamie Lynn be able to handle the heat?

Only time will tell!
