It looks like Michelle Keegan might be in the running for a seriously sexy opportunity!
The Coronation Street star has recently blown up thanks to her role in the brand new hit series Fool Me Once, based on the novel by Harlan Coben.
For those of you who haven’t yet watched (what are you waiting for?!) the show is about a woman who believes her husband to have been brutally murdered.

However, when Maya (Michelle Keegan) installs a nanny cam in her home to keep an eye on her little girl, she sees something shocking – her husband is on the video footage. Wild!
The show has been a massive success, propelling Michelle back into the limelight.
(Not that she every truly went away).
And now that it’s all anyone can talk about, apparently Michelle has been tipped to play the next female lead in a James Bond flick!
Gambling.com reports that Michelle has shot to the top of the bookies choices for who might be the next iconic ‘Bond girl’.

This comes after Industry expert Nick Ede told OK! Magazine that the success of Fool Me Once means “all eyes” are on Michelle.
“It’s really given Michelle a platform to make her a major star. All eyes are on her at the moment because Netflix is watched by millions of people globally and her series is number one here and in the US.”
Nick added that Michelle “looks every inch the Hollywood leading lady and she has star quality.”

He went on to say, “as a Hollywood producer or director, you want somebody who’s the whole package – and that’s Michelle.”
Intriguing! Allegedly, Jodie Comer of Killing Eve and The Last Duel is also reckoned to be in the running for a Bond girl position.
We wonder whether there’s any truth to it…really, we don’t care too much for Bond – we just want to see more of these fabulous ladies on our screens!
