It Only Took Kelly Clarkson 4 Words And 1 Emoji To Take Down This Fat Shamer

There's no bringing this lady down.

Kelly Clarkson

Kelly Clarkson wasn’t lying when she sang “What doesn’t kill you makes your stronger” and she proved just how feisty a lady she is by shutting down a fat-shamer on Twitter last night.

The 35-year-old singer had sent out a tweet which thanked everyone in the American armed forces for all of their hard work, but a troll replied to her with the short and bitter message, “You’re fat.”

Kel was having none of it though, and sent back a sassy reply saying, “…and still fucking awesome” followed by a winky emoji. #YassssQueen.

The mother of two told Ellen DeGeneres in 2015 that people have always been commenting on her weight, and that it’s old news. “I love that people think [the topic] is new,” she said. “Like, welcome to the past 13 years. I was the biggest girl on American Idol too. I wasn’t big, but people would call me big. I kind of always got that.”

Kelly continued, “Sometimes I’m more fit and I get into kickboxing and hardcore. And then sometimes I don’t and go, ‘Nope, I’d rather have wine!’”

Moral of the story? Never mess with Kelly Clarkson, she’s too cool for that.
