It’s Over: Jennifer Hudson Splits From Fiancé David Otunga After 10 Years Together

Jennifer Hudson has ended her relationship with WWE wrestler, David Otunga, after 10 years together. The pair, who share an eight-year-old son, have reportedly been in the process of breaking up for months.

The 36-year-old was granted a restraining order against him by the courts, which was “solely taken in the best interest of their son,” her rep told People.

But Otunga’s attorney insists he is not a danger to the child and suggests that Jennifer is using this claim in an attempt to get custody. The attorney said, “David Otunga has been trying to negotiate the terms of an amicable parenting agreement with Ms. Hudson for several weeks now.

“However, when it became apparent to Ms. Hudson that Mr. Otunga would be granted residential care of the child [due to Jennifer traveling the world for work] Ms. Hudson decided to file a meritless Petition for Order of Protection in an effort to gain an unfair advantage in the custody dispute.”
