ITV Is Planning A New Dating Show This Winter Called ‘The Cabins’

It’s been a long, Love Island-less summer, and we’re feeling it.

While we usually are kept entertained for eight weeks by the saucy shenanigans of dozens of celeb-wannabees all looking for love (and a few Instagram deals) on our screens each summer. This year was a little different, as the show had to be scrapped for this summer and winter season, due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Now, however, it looks like the reality dating shaped holes in our lives will be filled this winter, as ITV bosses are preparing to launch a brand new dating show, a lot like Love Island, just colder.

The show, aptly named ‘The Cabins’ will see singles thrown into, yep you guessed it, cabins, in a bid to find romance. Teasing us with a little more information, the broadcaster said:

“From heartfelt moments or declarations of love to awkward silences and difficult dating conversations, viewers will be able to follow all the antics and find out if the sparks fly or quickly fizzle out.”

It’s set to take place in the UK, but if you were worried that this means there won’t be any swim trunks and bikini action fear not! As ITV has promised that there will be plenty of hot-tubs for that – phew.

As for when exactly it will be on our screens is not yet known as the show is in its very early stages of production. But, the good news about this means that you, yes you, may have the chance to appear on the show.
