Jesse Tyler Ferguson Confronts Confusion Surrounding His Selling Sunset Appearance

Jesse Tyler Ferguson has an impressive skill for making appearances in the most surprising places. The Modern Family star surprised fans with his appearance in Taylor Swift’s You Need to Calm Down music video, and everyone was excited to see him at Adele’s One Night Only show.

But his latest cameo has fans howling.

Jesse was recently in an episode of Selling Sunset. You’re forgiven if you missed his appearance. He was there for close friend Christine Quinn’s baby shower. Considering she had painted nude models, jungle décor, along with a live sloth and a scarlet macaw, Jesse was able to go mostly under the radar.

But some eagle-eyed fans noticed him and poked fun at his appearance on the show.

But Jesse had the last laugh after a particular comment brought up his career. One Twitter user wrote, “Jesse Tyler Ferguson made an appearance at Christine’s baby shower. He’s either doing poorly post-Modern Family or he was just hella bored post-pandemic and craved ANY social interaction. Face with tears of joy #SellingSunset”

Jesse replied, taking the comments in his stride.

Jesse is currently co-hosting HGTV’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition with Ty Pennington and focusing on his cooking career after Modern Family ended in 2020.
