Joanne McNally Plans To Buy Her Own Home Next Year

“I’m forty this year, I want my own stuff. I want independence”

Joanne McNally is opening up about her plans for the future, sharing her intentions to buy a home next year.

The comedian opened up to RTÉ about her hopes for the future, with laying down roots being top of the agenda.

“I’m forty this year, I want my own stuff. I want independence,” Joanne explained.

Although, the Dublin will be heading on a long stand-up tour, which will see her travelling internationally. As such, she doesn’t see herself house hunting until next year.

Sharing: “I’m basically on tour for the rest of this year. I’ve given up all permanent addresses and I’m going to America, Canada, and Dubai. This year is a bit of a write-off location-wise but next year I’m hoping to settle down somewhere, I don’t know where, but I’d like a place of my own.”

Joanne’s international tour this year following a similarly busy 2022, as she traveled with her show The Prosecco Express.

In fact, at the end of last year, Joanne had performed an incredible 60 shows, in Dublin’s Vicar Street.

Sharing a video of her audience having a sing-song to Mariah Carey’s All I Want For Christmas Is You from last night’s gig Joanne sent a message to her fans thanking them for all the support this year.

“Tonight was the 60th @vicar_st ! Thank You so much to everyone who came tonight and every other night! It’s been quite a year! 😍Thank you! ♥️ that’s me tryna film the audience 🫠 support from the amazing @thestephenmullan 🎄” she wrote.

Alongside her own tour, Joanne also plans to do live shows of her podcast My Therapist Ghosted Me along with her co-host Vogue Williams. Their show is coming to Dublin, Cork and Belfast this year.
