Joe Jonas And Sophie Turner Release Custody Statement

Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas have broken their silence on their divorce proceedings.

The famous duo have allegedly been in a discrepancy over how they will divide custody of their two daughters, Willa (3) and Delphine (15 months).

According to TMZ, the actress and musician have now come to a temporary agreement, which they shared in a joint statement.

Explaining the decision they’ve reached, Joe and Sophie said, “After a productive and successful mediation, we have agreed that the children will spend time equally in loving homes in both the U.S. and the UK.

“We look forward to being great co-parents.”

The publication reports that the agreement will last into early 2024.

The news comes shortly after People reported that Sophie had sued Joe for wrongful retention.

The actor had alleged that her husband was withholding her children’s passports and keeping them from travelling to England.

The complaint filed by Sophie called or “the immediate return of children wrongfully removed or wrongfully retained.”

Thankfully, it looks as though both parties have now been able to reach a more amicable understanding.

Joe originally filed for divorce from Sophie in September. The divorce filing read, “the marriage between the parties is irretrievably broken.”

Fans were shocked by the surprising revelation that the pair weren’t doing well, as they had been seen together in public and were appearing to be close on before the announcement came.

According to Page Six, Sophie has allegedly been staying in one of Taylor Swift’s homes while she figures out the details of her separation.
