John Travolta Shares Sweet Tribute To His Late Grease Co-Star Olivia Newton-John

Olivia Newton-John, singer and star of the iconic movie musical Grease sadly passed away yesterday after a long battle with breast cancer.

The sad news was announced in a statement on Olivia’s Instagram page and shared that the star passed away “at her Ranch in Southern California”, “surrounded by family and friends.”

The internet began pouring out tributes to the star who is best known for her role as Sandy alongside John Travolta as Danny in Grease. The pair remained great friends over the years, so it was not surprising to see the actor pen an emotional tribute to the late star. You may want to get the tissues.

Posting a gorgeous throwback snap of Olivia, he wrote, “My dearest Olivia, you made all of our lives so much better. Your impact was incredible. I love you so much. We will see you down the road and we will all be together again. Yours from the first moment I saw you and forever!  Your Danny, your John!”

Kylie Minogue also penned a sweet message for her fellow Aussie star after the news broke sharing that Olivia was an inspiration to her since her childhood.
