If Jojo’s hit track Leave (Get Out) was the anthem to all your teenage breakups well then, get ready for Chill (Stay Home) to be the soundtrack to your days in quarantine.

On Wednesday, the 29-year-old surprised fans on TikTok by releasing a reprised version of the 2004 single.

Beating her dining room table in a real Pitch Perfect-esque scenario, the Massachusetts-native sings:

“Stay In! Right now! Do it for humanity! I’m deadass! About that! But we will survive. So you gon’ learn how to cook now, and practice good hygiene, I know you’re bored and want to fu*k around but not on me.”

The short remake of the track has fans living for her clever lyrics and asking the star to release a full version.

“Jojo, this is iconic, we need a full version, please I beg you,” one fan wrote on TikTok.

And it appears as though Jojo has heard the prayers of many, who called the track “our national anthem”, writing on Twitter last night, Jojo revealed that she will drop a full version.

Similar to Jojo’s first track where the boy is a liar, this time he’s not obeying the guidelines to stay indoors – sing it queen.

We must admit, the opening line where she sings “I never thought corona could be such a nasty bitch” hits differently.

More of this Jojo, please, our social distancing icon.
