Kat Von D Has Divided Fans By Revealing That She Won’t Be Vaccinating Her Child

Kat Von D has revealed that she is planning to not vaccinate her child.

The TV star had a marriage celebration with her musician boyfriend Prayers in a lavish, goth-themed ceremony this week after secretly marrying in February.

After a brief honeymoon, the pair announced that they were expecting their first child together. Kat took to Instagram to announce her pregnancy and released a lengthy statement to explain how she plans to raise her child.

In the post, Kat Von D said she plans to “have a natural, drug-free homebirth in water with a midwife and doula, who has the intention of raising a vegan child, without vaccinations.”

The post has gotten a mixed reaction, with some praising the star for her mothering choices, while others criticised her for deciding not to vaccinate her child.

Responding to a comment asking her why she doesn’t believe in vaccinations, the tattoo artist said:

After much research, we feel vaccinations are not safe, and seem to be pushed by an industry whose interest is not in the wellbeing of mankind.
