Kate Middleton Wore These €210 Runners And People Have Mixed Feelings About Them

Kate Middleton is Patron of the Lawn Tennis Association in the UK and she popped along to the National Tennis Centre to encourage more people, from all different backgrounds, to get involved in tennis.

The Duchess of Cambridge, who is pregnant with her third child, swapped her usual designer dresses for a tracksuit, but it was fairly expensive in its own right. Her shoes alone, a pair of Nike Air VaporMax, cost a whopping €210.

People have had mixed feelings about her wearing such expensive footwear. Some people think they look great, and have said on Twitter, “I cannot believe Kate Middleton was rocking those Nike Air VaporMax Flyknit’s today, what an icon. I love her.” Others on Instagram have said, “So that’s the sneaker a princess wears!” and “Wow, she looks so cool and sporty!”

However, some think she should be a bit more modest and wear more affordable runners instead. “Why can’t she set an example and wear cheaper items,” one person questioned. Another said, “What a shame she’s wearing trainers that cost so much ? .”
