Katy Perry Has Chosen Jennifer Anniston To Be Godmother To Her Baby Girl

The couple's baby girl is due at some point over the next few weeks.

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom have reportedly chosen Jennifer Anniston to be the their baby’s Godmother. The couple’s baby girl is due at some point over the next few weeks.

A source told The Sun that Jennifer is; “pretty chuffed about it as well and cried when they asked her.”

This is a very special thing to ask a friend, and reports say that Jen and Katy are super close; “During lockdown they went for socially distanced walks, and spent lots of time catching up.”

When Katy Perry announced that she and fiancé Orlando Bloom were expecting a baby together, the internet went into a frenzy. Perhaps because she did it in the least chill way possible?

Never one not to make a song and dance about things, she announced the exciting news in a music video for her single ‘Never Worn White.’

This is the 35 year old’s first baby, and Orlando’s second, as he already has a 9 year old boy with his ex-wife Miranda Kerr.

Speaking to her fans she said “I’m excited, we’re excited and happy. It’s probably the longest secret I’ve ever had to keep. I thought I would tell you guys in the best way through a piece of music.”

The star, in classic Katy fashion, also announced the sex of the baby in the weirdest of ways. Posting a snap of Orlando Bloom with his face covered in pink icing she said; “it’s a girl.”

We already can’t wait to see the adorable outfits she’ll dress her in, as we know Katy is never one to do anything low-key.
