Katy Perry Reveals That She And Orlando Bloom Are Expecting A Girl

When Katy Perry announced last month that she and fiancé Orlando Bloom were expecting a baby together, the internet went into a frenzy. Perhaps because she did it in the least chill way possible?

Never one not to make a song and dance about things, she announced the exciting news in a music video for her latest song ‘Never Worn White.’

This is the 35 year old’s first baby, and Orlando’s second, as he already has a 9 year old boy with his ex-wife Miranda Kerr.

Speaking to her fans she said “I’m excited, we’re excited and happy. It’s probably the longest secret I’ve ever had to keep. I thought I would tell you guys in the best way through a piece of music.”

On Instagram yesterday, in classic Katy fashion, she announced the sex of the baby in the weirdest of ways. Posting a snap of Orlando Bloom with his face covered in pink icing she said; “it’s a girl.”

We already can’t wait to see the adorable outfits she’ll dress her in, as we know Katy is never one to do anything low-key.
