Kim Cattrall Has Landed An Exciting Netflix Series

Even though Kim Cattrall is missing from And Just Like That, she hasn’t been too absent from our screens, with her role in How I Met Your Father and some more exciting projects on the way, we are seeing Kim around more than we have in years, and we love it!

The actress’s new Netflix series sounds just like something we’d love to watch, in the show “Glamorous” Kim will portray a makeup mogul Madolyn Addison, who the lead character Marco Mejia (played by YouTuber Miss Benny) goes to work for.

The show is set to start filming in July in Toronto, so we will have to wait another while for it to be released but something tells us this character is going to suit Kim down to the ground, she is so glam already!

Sharing the announcement on social media Kim wrote, “So happy to be part of this project.”

Kim is also starring in a new show which premiered on Peacock in the US named Queer As Folk as well as becoming the face of skincare brand Ole Henrikson and stars in an upcoming movie alongside Robert De Niro, meaning we will be getting all the Kim content we’ve been craving, even if it’s not via Samantha Jones.

The former Sex And The City star made her feelings clear after the second movie that she was finished with the franchise, even revealing that she wasn’t aproached for the reboot at all.

Kim told Variety, “I was never asked to be part of the reboot. I made my feelings clear after the possible third movie, so I found out about it like everyone else did — on social media.”

It’s known that Kim didn’t get along with her co-stars, especially SJP, however SJP has recently spoken of the feud saying she hasn’t added any fuel to the fire.

Speaking to the Hollywood’s Reporter Awards Chatter podcast SJP said, “It’s so painful for people to keep talking about this ‘catfight’ – a fight.

“I’ve never uttered fighting words in my life about anybody that I’ve worked with, ever. There is not a fight going on. There has been no public dispute or spat or conversations or allegations made by me or anybody on my behalf.

“I wouldn’t do it. That is not the way I would have it. So I just wish that they would stop calling this a catfight or an argument, because it doesn’t reflect, actually, there has been one person talking,” she said.

“And I’m not going to tell her not to, or anybody. So that’s been kind of painful for me also,” she continued.

It’s safe to say Samantha Jones will be left in the past, at least a physical version. In the reboot of the show ‘Samantha’ has been referenced through texts or flowers sent, but we don’t expect a cameo from Kim.
