Kim Cattrall Makes Surprise Appearance On And Just Like That… Ahead Of Finale Cameo

She’s back!

Samantha Jones made her return to the Sex and the City universe with an appearance in the most recent episode of And Just Like That… ahead of actress Kim Cattrall’s cameo appearance in the season two finale.

The And just Like That teased the final cameo with the star through the form of a throwback pic.

During the latest episode which dropped on 2nd August, Samatha Jones appeared on the revival show for the first time ever. Charlotte finds a photo – a real life publicity shot from the Sex and the City days – of the four friends, Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte whole looking through albums of moments passed.

Kim confirmed back in June that she would be making a quick cameo on the current season of the hit revival show. This came after Variety confirmed she would appear in the finale and managed to shoot the cameo without interacting with any of the cast. Kim later revealed on the Today Show that she filmed the cameo in just four hours.

The actress also ruled out any future appearances on the show saying: “This is as far as I’m gonna go.”

Kim’s cameo appearance news came after rumours of a two decade long feud between herself and Sarah Jessica Parker.

Sarah Jessica Parker spoke to E!News back in June about the Kim Cattrall cameo appearance.

She said: “The idea emerged because of the 25 years and wanting to celebrate that, but also acknowledge the affection that we had for Samantha—that we continue to have. She’s been present on the show in text form, so it just seemed such a nice way to put a face to the text, and just have a moment.”
