Kylie Jenner Has Just Disabled All Comments On Her Instagram And This Is Why

Surprisingly, it's got nothing to do with trolling.

Given how frequently Kylie Jenner posts on social media, you’d imagine that she’s quite a fan of apps like Facebook, Instagram and Twitter that let her interact with her millions of fans.

But it seems that for Kylizzle, gaining lotsa traction on Insta isn’t the be all and end all, as she’s just taken the decision to disable all new comments on her account.

In contrast to the thousands of comments KJ would usually get on her pics, her posts from the last two days now look like this…

So why has she chosen to take such a drastic step? Well, apparently it’s not so much about people trolling her and leaving nasty comments on her feed, as it is about fans using her Insta as a tool for self promotion.

Kylie took to Twitter last night to explain her decision, writing “So I’m trying out disabling my comments on Instagram because I’m done w people self promoting & the “LBs.”

LBs are likebacks, FYI. Yeah, we didn’t know either.

Sadly, for Insta users wanting to do the same with their account, the comment filtering option is currently only available to high volume users like A-listers and big name bloggers, but should hopefully be rolling out to us mere mortals in the near future.

In the mean time, if you wanna drop Kylie a line, we guess you’ll have to do so the old fashioned way; er, via Twitter.
