Lady Gaga Has Promised To Perform Shallow At The Oscars Under One Condition

We NEED this to happen.

If, like us here in STELLAR HQ, you were singing the soundtrack from A Star Is Born for weeks after its release, you’ll be very happy to hear this.

Lady Gaga has promised to perform the biggest hit from the movie, Shallow, at the Oscars – but only if the song is nominated.

Gaga told Variety magazine she’d do it “one hundred percent,” and her co-star Bradley Cooper is also up for it.

“We talked about that actually, because I’m such a maniac. I started texting her the whole pitch of how we should do it. So we’ll see. There might be a cool, unorthodox way we could perform it.”

The likeliness of Shallow being nominated for an Oscar is pretty high seeing as A Star Is Born was one of the most talked about films of the year, and typically all five songs that are nominated get a performance slot for the show, so we have a good feeling about it.

Nominations will be announced on January 23, 2019, so there’s ample time to get a petition going.
