Lily Collins Announces Her Engagement To Director, Charlie McDowell

Lily Collins has announced the happy news that she’s engaged this weekend! Taking to Instagram, the actress shared a loved up snap of her and her beau captioned; “I’ve been waiting my lifetime for you and I can’t wait to spend our lifetime together…”

The picture was taken right after her partner, director Charlie McDowell, proposed whilst the pair were out for a hike together.

Charlie and Lily were first spotted together in July of 2019 in LA, but since then have kept their relationship very private.

The 31 year old actress also shared some snaps of her unusual ring. The gem is a cushion-cut pink stone and is set on a skinny gold band. We’d be flashing it for pics if we were her too, it’s stunning.

Lily’s fiancé also shared the exciting news on his own Instagram saying; “In a time of uncertainty and darkness you have illuminated my life. I will forever cherish my adventure with you. 💍🎉.”

In other exciting news for the actress, she has a new show coming to Netflix called Emily in Paris. From Sex and the City creator, Darren Star, it follows Emily who moves to Paris, France to work for a big marketing firm.

It’s giving us serious SATC/Gossip Girl vibes, and the outfits look incredible. We can’t wait.

The show hits Netflix on the 2nd of October.
