Ohh bonjour! It has been un très long temps since we caught up with Emily In Paris, no?

Well, our terrible French has been forgiven, and our prayers answered. As Emily herself, Lily Collins, recently gave an update on what we can expect from season three. Considering it’s been nearly a year since the second season dropped, this is a momentous occasion.

Netflix confirmed this week that Emily will be returning to our screen on December 21 – and it’s safe to say that we’re counting down the days.

So, what should we expect Emily and the gang to get up to in Paris? Well, we’ll be getting more, more, more of EVERYTHING.

As Lily told Entertainment Weekly: “More love triangles, more drama, more laughs, more fashion, more locations, more France!”

Along with “a lot of cliffhangers.” (No need to worry though, the show has already been renewed for a fourth season, so they will be resolved… even if it takes awhile.)

We cannot wait! Well, actually we can, and kind of have to, as season three won’t be arriving until the end of this month.

But hey it’s not too far away, so a win is win.

We can also expect the return of all our favourite characters like Mindy, Camille, Sylvie, Julien, Luc, and Gabriel.

Plus Emily’s British beau Alfie is returning as a series regular, so it seems that move to London might have been postponed? Or maybe they’re going long-distance? Either way, we’ll be seeing more Lucien Laviscount.

There are also rumours that Emily might be travelling a little more this season, with Lily hinting at trip to Belgium for the marketing manager.

She told EW just how amazing working on their third season has been, particularly loving her role as producer.

She said: “It’s been incredible, I’ve learned so much and I’m super grateful for the team to inspire me to continue voicing myself and owning my ideas, and it’s been a dream job.”

Well, we’re about to go re-watch the first two seasons, au revoir!
