Lizzo Reveals That Drake Reached Out To Her After Hearing *Those* Rumours Lyrics

We all waited patiently for Lizzo to release new music, and she certainly delivered. I’ve had Rumours on repeat since its release, and I’m certainly not the only one. If you have too, you’ll know exactly what Drake lyrics we’re talking about.

Last night, Lizzo virtually appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live, where our very own Niall Horan was guest hosting. Of course, Niall wanted to know the same as we did, if Drake had reached out to her following that line in Rumours which says: “No, I ain’t f–k Drake yet.”

“There’s a lyric in the song—’No, I ain’t f–k Drake yet.’ Do explain.” To which Lizzo hilariously replied, “OK, so the original line was, ‘No, I ain’t f–k Niall yet.’ The label said it was a little bit provocative. So I changed it to Drake, a safer bet.”

Niall then asked if Drake had heard it, and Lizzo shared: “I think he’s heard the No. 4 song in the country.”

Although later, Lizzo then revealed, “Actually, I have heard from Drake. But that’s all I’m gonna say on that.”

Of course, Lizzo praised Cardi B who featured on Rumours, “I’m grateful to Cardi B, too,” she shared. “She really killed it on the song. Her and Cardi Jr. were in my music video. She brought her pregnant ass to set—I’m eternally grateful.

“You know, because if I was pregnant, I would want to sit my ass at home and prop my feet and eat some hot Cheetos and Takis.”
