Louis Theroux Is Bringing Out His Own Podcast, And It Won’t Be Long Until You Hear It
Something to look forward to this month.
If there’s one thing that makes us feel at ease, it’s the caring voice of Mr Louis Theroux. The journalist and award winning documentary maker is now adding another string to his bow, podcasts.
Over the course of the last couple of weeks, Louis has been interviewing some famous faces, talking to them about life in lockdown for his series – Grounded With Louis Theroux.
“I’ve really loved doing these interviews,” explains Louis.
“It’s been a chance to speak to people I admire and have in depth conversations with them, about their lives, their careers, and their most intimate feelings.
“Making a podcast and radio series is very different to my usual way of working. And for that reason, I’ve found it very fun and refreshing.”
In the episodes which will all be over an hour long (hallelujah), Louis will talk to Boy George, documentary maker Jon Ronson and Lenny Henry to name a few.

In a short teaser released today to plug the show, Louis admits that he’s recorded some of the episodes in his PJs, a sight we’d honestly just love to see. What are the chances they’re matching? 100 percent?
“I’ll be talking to people I find interesting, people whose work I admire, people who in normal circumstances I might not have a chance to speak to,” the 49-year-old continued.
Ugh Louis, anything you make, we are totally onboard for.
Grounded With Louis launches April 27 on BBC Sounds.
