It seems like content creator houses are popping up everywhere these days.
In the past couple of months, the term “TikTok house” is one we’ve all become familiar with, as we’ve seen houses of social media influencers pop up everywhere, following the same format as those in the US, where creators have started to make a serious income off making videos together and landing major brand deals.
With houses like the Hype House and Sway House in Los Angeles launching the careers of some of TikTok’s biggest stars, former members include Addison Rae; who now has her own cosmetics line, recently hosted the Billboard Awards and works with SKIMs to name a few things, while Charli D’Amelio, the platform’s biggest star (93 million followers), works with Hollister, starred in a Super Bowl advert and has her own Morphe collab, as well as upcoming TV show.
Yes, it’s pretty clear to see that these creator houses can lead stars to serious success and so, trying to mimic that same fame, we’ve seen more houses pop up around the place, even close to home, with an Irish TikTok house The Go House cropping up over summer.
But the latest one in the UK is a rebrand of a once popular creator house called My House London, which has now been renamed the Icon House with a whole load of new members.
The first member to be announced on Sunday was Winter Love Island’s very own Luke Mabbott.

It is believed Luke will live in the house for a couple of months alongside a variety of other content creators, making videos and documenting their time together.
With seven members in the house, fans believe Luke’s girlfriend and Love Island star Lucie Donlan will also be revealed as a house member, as well as Luke T and Siannise Fudge; again, from Winter Love Island.

Following in the same format as creator house the Wave House, again, in the UK, the Icon House appear to be doing a slow “unmasking” of their members, helping to build hype and followers as fans join along for the ride to see who will be announced each day.
