Luca Bish may be following in the footsteps of his girlfriend’s father…

The Love Island star has signed to non-league football team Hailsham Town. Although Luca isn’t taking this opportunity out of nowhere, the star has previously played for Saltdean United.

The team shared the news on Twitter writing, “Delighted to announce a new arrival at The Beaconsfield. Previously with Saltdean United, welcome to the #Stringers Luca Bish! #NonLeague #Sussex.”

There also are pictures on Twitter of Luca signing autographs for fans after a recent match, something tells us the team may be about to get a lot more attention.

In the comments on Twitter one fan wrote, “Hope Hailsham are prepared for the number of spectators that will be arriving!!! Love that Luca is staying true to his football.”

To which the team’s account responded, “More Bovril was ordered.” Hmm interesting choice of sideline delicacy for supporters but at least they are prepared!

Luca was a fishmonger before Love Island but something tells us his fish gutting days are over…

Luca and Gemma Owen made their relationship official just over a week ago and after remaining together in the villa despite not being ‘official’ Luca made sure to make the occasion special.
