Making Bank Holiday Plans? Grafton Street Has Welcomed A Brand New Beer Garden
Two pints of lager and a packet of crisps, please.
This is possibly the first long weekend where the majority of people are mainly looking forward to the Monday: where we can dine and drink in our favourite spots that have outdoor spaces. It feels like it’s been forever since we last sat in a beer garden, with a chilled pint or glass of Pinot, along with a stunning pizza or a crisp bag to share.
If you haven’t decided where to go just yet, but fancy heading into town, then we’ve got good news for you.
Award-winning Porterhouse Brew Co. is the latest addition to Dublin’s Grafton Street, as it prepares to open the brand new Porterhouse Beer Garden located on Adam Court between 6-7 Grafton St, with an outdoor capacity for up to 60 people.
The venue will operate on a first-come, first-served walk-in basis, with tables for two, three, four and six available, and will offer a much-needed boost to Dublin’s outdoor social scene, all operating in line with Covid restrictions.
The drinks menu will include all of Porterhouse’s favourite brews on tap, including Porterhouse Stout, Pint of Plain, Rambler and Renegade, as well as full spirits, wine, and cocktail bar serving an amazing selection of cocktails using some of its own distilled spirits such as Dingle Gin and Dingle Vodka and the latest Dingle Single Malt. Plus, their food menu has a selection of appetizing burgers, pizzas, nachos, wings and more.- honestly, my mouth is watering already.
Another plus, The Porterhouse Beer Garden looks amazing and has been created with sustainability in mind. With furniture and bar fittings fabricated from old pallets, kegs and other discarded materials from the Porterhouse Brewery and Dingle Distillery.
Plenty of other outdoor spaces will also be opening their doors this Monday, including House, Fade Street Social, The Bernard Shaw, Wigwam, The Belfry, Church, and many more.
Have we ever been so excited for Monday to arrive?
