Malika Haqq Reveals How Tristan Thompson’s Cheating Impacted Khloe Kardashian While Welcoming A Second Child

Hollywood has plenty of famous besties, from Kendall Jenner and Hailey Bieber to Taylor Swift and Blake Lively. But no pair really do friendship like Malika Haqq and Khloe Kardashian.

The gals were friends long before fame, and have been there for each other in good times and in bad. Most recently with Malika supporting Khloe amid her ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson’s latest cheating scandal, when it was revealed in December 2021, that the Canadian man had fathered another child while in a relationship with Khloe.

Malika supported Khloe through all of the couple’s ups and downs, but this last scandal was particularly bad as it was announced that Khloe and Tristan welcomed their second child together via surrogate earlier this month, meaning the pair were expecting a baby when the news broke.

And now Malika is sharing how Tristan’s cheating really impacted Khlo while welcoming their second bubba. Speaking on the Reality with The King podcast, she confessed: “I think she’s doing about as well as you could expect for someone in her circumstances.”

Sharing how the scandal added some negativity to what should of been a wonderful time for Khloe.

Malika explained: “There are some glory times that are really meant to just be glory times. And some of that has been stripped from her, and it’s sad, but she really is one of the strongest people I know.”

“She’s got a good head on her shoulders. Faith is something else, and she’s got a great deal of it. I’ll tell you that much. ‘Cause this ain’t easy. It’s not easy for me to watch, so I know it’s not easy for her.”

Khloe and Tristan welcomed their first daughter True in 2018, and their second child, at the start of August.

A representative for Khloe confirmed the little ones arrival to E! News, explaining they welcomed a baby boy via surrogacy.

A rep for Khloe confirmed to E! News that she was expecting her second child in July.

“We can confirm True will have a sibling who was conceived in November…Khloe is incredibly grateful to the extraordinary surrogate for such a beautiful blessing. We’d like to ask for kindness and privacy so that Khloe can focus on her family.” they explained.

The baby was conceived before Tristan’s paternity scandal broke in December, and this latest season of The Kardashians revealed that Khloe was unaware of any cheating before the scandal gained media attention.
