Mark Wright Says He’ll “Make It Work” With Michelle Keegan, Despite Months-Long Separation

The pair will be separated for some time due to work commitments.

Michelle Keegan and Mark Wright have been married for almost two years, but they haven’t been spending as much time together as most newlywed couples.

The nature of Michelle’s job requires her to travel a lot, and she’ll soon be flying to Nepal, South Africa and Malaysia to film scenes for the new season of BBC war drama Our Girl.

Speaking to Christine Bleakley on Lorraine this morning, Mark shared that, “Michelle goes away very shortly for a few months.”

But he insists that they can “make it work.”

“I’ll be going back and forward when I can fit it in with work,” he says.

Their marriage has been rumoured to be in turmoil since last year, when Michelle temporarily relocated to South Africa to film her show.

They’ve always denied these rumours though, saying that their work commitments have no impact on their romantic life.

We really like this pair together, so hopefully Mark is right about making things work between them. Suppose absence makes the heart grow fonder, right?
