Marnie Simpson Has Shared That She Used Urban Dictionary To Choose Her Baby’s Name
The name is only for people who are extremely cool
We were today years old when we learned that Geordie Shore’s Marnie Simpson used Urban Dictionary – yes, that’s correct, Urban Dictionary, to find a name to call her child.
Marnie gave birth to her baby boy in October of this year, and yesterday took to Instagram to announce his rather unusual name.
Sharing the first snap of her family of three, Marnie captioned the image.
“Rox Johnson. 29.10.19. We adore you so much our beautiful boy”
Later taking to her stories to explain why she decided to name her son Rox, because of course, people were curious, she said:
“Everyone keeps asking how I picked his name”
She then scared a screenshot of the Urban Dictionary definition of the word ‘Rox’ and said: “I came across this definition online and loved it coz I knew he was going to be ultra-cool.”
She then also went on to thank fans for their kind words and support they have shared with her and her newborn.
Well, the tot is an absolute cutie none the less – but we can’t help feel a little sorry for him having to spend his life now living up to his ‘ultra-cool’ name, not all of us are naturally cool you know.
G’luck Rox!
