Maura Higgins Has Admitted To Storming Out Of The Villa In A Clip That Was Never Aired
The tea has most definitely been spilt
While it’s no secret that not everything that goes down in the Love Island villa makes it on screen, we were still a little shocked to hear that Queen of Ireland, Maura Higgins stormed out of the villa in a clip that was never aired.
Giving the ins and outs of her best and worst moments during her time in the villa on her new Boohoo podcast Get the Scoop, Maura told the tale of her dramatic exit which never made airways.
As we all know, Maura struggled with securing herself a decent man for her first few weeks in the villa. Between the Tommy/Molly-Mae triangle, and Tom the dope (which is his official name btw), she had her fair share of boy drama.
Worried that she may never find her perfect partner, Maura’s emotions got the better of her and she decided to leave the villa in what we imagine was in typical Maura fashion, bidding to never come back.
“I actually stormed out of the villa and said ‘I want to go home, I can’t do it anymore, I can’t find a man’ she said.
Having calmed down and thought things through, Maura of course decided to stay on the show and give things another chance, which in hindsight she is happy about.
She added:
“I am so proud of the fact I didn’t give up, because I was going to!”
Also spilling the beans on her best moments in the villa, she says that her favourite moment was finding a spark with dancer Curtis.
“My best moment in the villa was finding a man.”
“I’m so proud that I got the strength to stay and carry on.. and now look, I’ve got a man!” She added.
A man she got indeed, the lovebirds are still very much a thing since leaving the villa, and we reckon it is only a matter of time before they announce the anticipated news that they have made things offish.
