Max Ehrich Reveals How He Found Out That His Engagement Was Off With Demi Lovato
“Imagine finding out the status of your relationship through a tabloid.”
Earlier this week news broke that Demi Lovato and Max Ehrich had called off their engagement after a whirlwind romance.
Just two months ago the couple announced their engagement after meeting in March of this year. Max proposed four months after they first met, in July.
A source told People earlier this week that they had decided to end things; “It was a tough decision, but Demi and Max have decided to go their separate ways to focus on their respective careers.”
“They have respect and love for one another and will always cherish the time they spent together.”
However, Max has claimed that he only learnt about their split through the media. Sharing a series of Instagram stories on Saturday he wrote; “Imagine finding out the status of your relationship through a tabloid.”
“… While you’re in the middle of filming a biopic movie about a Pastor in a Christian Church whose intention of the film is to help people. God bless,” he added.

Hints that they had ended things were there all over Instagram, and some eagle-eyed fans picked up on it. The two had stopped liking one another’s pictures, and Demi was seen on her Instagram stories without her engagement ring.
A source has since told E! that the two have split up due to ‘trust issues’, “There were many red flags she was ignoring and trying to turn a blind eye to.”
In recent weeks screenshots of alleged old tweets coming from Max’s account surfaced, where he is seen flirting with other celebrities such as Ariana Grande, Selena Gomez, and Gigi Hadid, before Max had met Demi.

Twitter users accused Max of being a ‘clout chaser’ claiming that he has been ‘trying to get famous women’s attention for years’.
Demi later posted, saying that the screenshots found were fake and that people were using them to look for a distraction from what is going on around them.
Demi is yet to respond to Max’s claims.
