Meet The Love Island USA Contestants Entering The Villa – Now!

"I want my husband to be British"

A massive shake up is coming to Love Island All Stars – as favs from Love Island USA have entered the villa.

Yep, six stars from across the pond are about to descend on the South African villa to give the Brits (and Irish Jack) something to chat about.

There’ll be pulls, there’ll be secret kisses, there may even be a USA/UK marriage on the cards, if one of the new gals gets her way.

Here’s everything you need to know about the American Islanders.

Why do you want to come to Love Island UK?

Honestly, I felt that my time in the Love Island USA villa was cut short, I didn’t get the best shot at getting to know someone so for me, experiencing Love Island again but in the UK is perfect. I’ve always travelled the world and I love meeting girls outside of the US.

How will you approach it differently?

I don’t think my approach will be that much different as I put myself out there as much as I could. I just need more time, so hopefully I can find my person.

What are you looking forward to most about returning to the Villa?

I want to introduce a different side of the world to the UK girls and do my thing. I’m ready!

What can viewers expect from you this time?

I am super social, I love talking to everybody. They can expect me to be gentlemen but also go for what I want. In the US Villa I was conscious of not wanting to talk to ‘somebody’s girl’ but I would do that differently this time. I’m really excited to just get in there and do my thing.

How do your family feel about you doing it again?

My family thinks it’s great. They thought that Love Island is right up my alley! They’re super stoked about it.

Tell us about your time on Love Island

Love Island USA was when I was 22. I went on the most dates in any season ever… they called me ‘date guy’. So I did talk to a lot of girls. During Casa Amor I came down the stairs alone… and then called a girl down, which became a huge thing.

During my season of The Games, the Islanders voted to send me home before the public got a chance… I was only in for a couple of days!

Why do you want to come on Love Island: All Stars?

I’m lonely these days. It would be nice to meet somebody in there. I want to have somebody to really date. I really want that. I’m not just going in to mess around. I’m going to put my best foot forward.

How will you approach it differently?

I will try and get to know people deeply rather than constantly moving on. I’m more mature and I know what I want. I’m willing to buy more into the process and actually see if someone in there is the one for me.

What type of Islander are you?

I am a fun Islander. I like to always be doing something. I like to call people on their stuff. I give a lot of one-liners. I’m a big flirt. I feel like the girls in the Villa want a guy who can really give it and have some banter and have some personality, it’s not all about the looks.

Have you been to the UK before and would you move to the UK for a partner?

I’ve never been to the UK but I would move for the right person. If I was to find someone in the Villa and hit it off, I’d do three or four months, get a rental, spend each day with that person and see how it goes and from there we’d make a decision. I have nothing tying me down in the US. At this point I’m really open to experiencing something new.

We’ve just had an American winner Toni on Love Island Series 12, do you feel the pressure to keep up the trend?

I think Toni set a great example and she’s amazing, so I feel as if I need to try and back her up and set the tone.

Tell us about your time on Love Island USA

The first time I did Love Island USA it was a life-changing experience. I went into it with the hope of meeting someone. You do get close to people so quickly, it’s amazing. I was an OG and I was nervous as hell. I had a really good time. I was coupled up with a few different girls. The audience voted one girl off and it broke my heart! Then I met another girl, but they her and I were voted out very close to the end.

What type of Islander are you?

I’m definitely very real, blunt, and honest. I don’t sugar coat. At my age I’m very mature and I know what I want. I know what I like and I know what I don’t like.

Why do you want to come on Love Island All Stars?

I don’t know anyone in the UK! Best case scenario, I get a British girlfriend, worst case, I have a lot of friends in a new country – and that’s a blessing. The UK isn’t far from LA. That’s a direct flight!

Would you move to the UK for a partner?

The way I live my life, it’s so fluid, I’m in different places all the time. So I’d probably want us to split the time. And even spend some months in Bali, Japan, Dubai or something.

We’ve just had an American winner Toni on series 12 – do you feel the pressure to keep up the trend?

I don’t go into these things thinking about winning. A win for me is coming out with someone special and a group of friends. I’m going for the relationship aspect and the friendships.

Do you know anyone in the Villa?

I don’t know anybody. Everything is completely new. That’s why I’m excited. It’s a whole new thing.

Tell us about your time on Love Island USA

I walked in during Casa Amor, I was one of the only two girls that got brought back. It was hard to be received, everyone was angry that someone brought me in… I can handle any environment  but it took some time for people to warm up to me. Then I was friends with everyone and then America voted me off!

What type of Islander are you?

I’m pretty fearless. I don’t have a type, I’m more of a personality girl. All of my exes are different. Personality and intelligence attracts me. I don’t mind stepping on toes, I always get what I want.

Why do you want to come on Love Island: All Stars?

I fully believe my husband has to be British. I’ve been trying to date in America for so long and I’ve given up. This time around it’ll be different. I’ve grown up, I’ll make better choices.

What do you expect British Islanders to be like?

Very flirtatious. Extremely! The US boys aren’t as cheeky. Men in the US don’t seem to feel the need to flirt or really work for what they want. They just expect girls to come their way. You have to work for me.

Have you been to the UK before?

I love it. I’ve been to London twice. I have a few friends that live there. I love the cloudy weather. There’s just something about London; it’s a cleaner, chicer version of New York. It’s stylish, the people are beautiful. I want to move to London. The first time I visited I thought that all the guys were super hot and I thought, ‘This is the place for me.’ Hopefully I find my husband here!

Would you move to the UK for a partner?

1000%. Get me out of here! Or we could do back and forth. But I can give Miami up for a little bit.

What do your friends think of you going to Love Island: All Stars?

They think my husband is going to be British. They would say I’m tired of everyone here.

Toni won Love Island series 12 – do you feel the pressure to keep up the trend?

I don’t feel the pressure, but I’m going to aim to win it!

How will you handle friendships and loyalties in there while trying to date?

I think what everyone forgets is that we’re in a dating show. You have to date around. No-one is off limits until it’s solidified. Communicate and be honest. I’m a very honest person, whether you’re going to want to hear it, you’re going to hear it. There’s no secrets, if you don’t like it then that’s what you decide.

Kyra Lizama

Age: 28

Series: Love Island USA Series 3

Why do you want to come on Love Island: All Stars?

From first hand experience, I know that Love Island works. I know the Love Island Gods can bring me love as I did find love the first time in the US. I love a good accent. Everyone there is my type!

How will you approach it differently?

I will definitely be approaching it differently The first time I went all in on one guy, put all my eggs in one basket and this time I really need to explore and do my thing.

Also, I want to stand up for myself and my boundaries. I am ready to start fresh with a clean slate.

What do you think works about Love Island to meet someone?

Love Island is the perfect place to test out your connections in a very safe environment. I think you can do so much exploration there that you can’t necessarily do in the ‘real world’.

You can explore without judgement and it’s just the perfect environment to do so.

What are you looking forward to most about returning to the Villa?

I’m kind of tired of all of the people in the US, so I am ready to meet new people from the UK.

All the hot guys. Making out with everybody and having a fun and sexy time. That is what I am looking forward to the most. The friendships that come are a big bonus, too. It’s going to be amazing!

What can viewers expect from you this time?

I was known for being such a lover girl on my season of Love Island. I am still very much a lover girl! I’m loyal, happy, positive and optimistic.

How do your family feel about you doing it again?

At first they thought it was crazy but they are super supportive and excited to see me back on the screen.

Why do you want to come to Love Island: All Stars?

I’m so excited to go back into the world of Love Island, to show my growth and look for someone who is serious.

How will you approach it differently?

I would approach it the same. Same icon but more iconic. The same me, be true to myself…and this time as a red head.

What’s been going on in your dating life since the last time you were on Love Island?

I have been openly dating and waiting for the right person.

What do you think works about Love Island to meet someone?

It makes the guys think about what their type is and what they are looking for. All I need to do is date and have fun!

What are you looking forward to most about returning to the Villa?

Seeing if my US charm passes the vibe check with an international man.

What can viewers expect from you this time?

They can expect raw reactions, realness and a fun, light energy. I think the UK audience will love me, I am a hidden gem.
