Meet The Irish Bombshell Entering The Love Island Villa

It’s the moment we’ve all been waiting for as an Irish islander is finally entering the Love Island villa tomorrow night!

Considering the impressive list of Irish islander such as Maura Higgins, Greg O’Shea, Dami Hope, and so many more, we were sorely disappointed to not see any paddys in the villa this year. But that’s all about the change as Dubliner Martin Akinola is heading into Casa Amor. 

The 27-year-old is a Senior Software Engineer, and will be hoping to strike up a connection with one of the Love Island girls, and earn a spot in the main villa. As for who he has got his eye, Martin has quite a few ideas.

Saying: “I don’t just have one person, I’ve got options…”

While Martin might be new to the Love Island villa, he does have some insider knowledge of the villa, as he is close pals with last year’s finalist Dami Hope.

Seen as Dami found love in the villa, still going strong with girlfriend Indiyah Polack, he clearly knows a thing or two about finding the one on the hit reality series, and has offered his friend some advice.

“He said, ‘Do your thing, be yourself and everyone else will get to know you, and get to see why we’re friends.’ He was saying, ‘You tell the boys on a night out, “This is how to talk to a girl”, now go and show them how it’s done.’ I was like, I can do that!” Martin shared.

As for what approach we can expect Martin to take, the Dubliner is just planning on stay true to himself.

As he explained: “I’m going to show what I’m like on the outside; I like to have fun and do my thing. If I like someone, I’m just going to say. And then if I like someone else, I’m just going to go for that. I’m going to explore my options and just be myself.”

As for if he has high hopes for Casa Amor, Martin is going with plenty of confidence. “I’m excited to go in, cause some confusion, some little problems. It’s a 50/50 chance – win or lose – but I’m a winner,” he said.
