Meghan Markle Has Bagged Her First Movie Role Post-Royal

And the $$ is going to a very good cause!

Meghan Markle’s first post-royal movie role has been confirmed.

Disney has confirmed that Megan has been cast as the role of narrator for a brand new Disney+ film, ‘Elephant’.

Announcing the news on Twitter, Disney also confirmed that the film will be available to stream on Disney+ from the 3rd of April, along with a second original movie narrated by another Hollywood actress, Natalie Portman.

Disneynature’s Elephant, an Original Movie narrated by Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex, starts streaming April 3, only on #DisneyPlus,” the tweet read.

It was reported back in January that Meghan had signed the deal, not for money, but in exchange for a donation to a conservation project that her and Harry have worked closely with in recent years, ‘Elephants without borders’.

The film’s plot will follow the story of an elephant family’s journey across Africa, an adventure that will change their lives.

Having a peep at the trailer, we reckon a few tissues may be needed.

Possibly our favourite part about Meghan’s new gig is when we saw Prince Harry himself pitch her to Disney boss Bob Iger back in July of last year.

And it looks like Kris Jenner better watch her back because there’s a new momager in town, and a diligent one at that – G’wan Haz!
