Meghan Trainor Says She Will Not Be Having Sex While Pregnant

Baby fever has well and truly taken over, it’s impossible to scroll through your insta feed these days and not come across a pregnancy announcement or bump pic. Among those with child right now, is singer/songwriter Megan Trainor, who has just announced one thing that she will not be doing while preggo.

That thing you ask? Having sex. Yes, during a new interview Megan has admitted that intercourse is off the cards for the next few months as she grows her little one. Explaining why that is, she said:

“Maybe this is weird, but mentally I can’t have sex while our son is in between us.”

“All my pregnancy apps say it feels really good. But all I can think about is that there’s a little boy in my belly.”

While sex during pregnancy is completely normal, we understand her worries, but also – poor Daryl!

Megan and husband Daryl first announced that they were expecting a baby back in October of this year with a very sweet social media post. Megan then also shared with the world that the couple were having a baby boy on The Kelly Clarkson Show a number of weeks ago, which she shared with her friends and family for the first time also.

Megan and Daryl (who you may recognise from TV show Friends as the kid who Chandler tells is adopted, and ofc Spy Kids too) have been dating since 2016, and got engaged in 2017, on Megan’s 24th birthday. Announcing the engagement news she said:

“He proposed to me under a tunnel of beautiful Christmas lights and surprised me with my family and friends. I’m still in shock. I’ve never been this happy!”
