Michelle Keegan Made Some Controversial Comments About How Girls Dress On Halloween And Twitter Is Not Impressed
She's been labelled a hypocrite.
Oh dear, oh dear. She’s not usually one to be outspoken, but Michelle Keegan has landed herself in a little bit of hot water thanks to some controversial comments she made on Twitter yesterday.
The Our Girl actress took aim at women who dress sexily on Halloween and not surprisingly her comments didn’t go down too well.
“Halloween… For the people who dress up in underwear and throw blood on themselves and think it’s ok… It’s not!” she tweeted.

Of course, Michelle is right: lots of people do dress this way at Halloween, but many disagreed with her passing judgement on it.

@michkeegan think people should probably be able to wear whatever they want? Live and let live… they aren’t hurting you ?

@michkeegan stop w this internalised misogyny, what other people wear doesn’t affect you in any way. Not cool

Other fans labelled Michelle a hypocrite and pointed out that she’s wearing underwear in her profile picture.
@michkeegan hello Michelle. Look at your profile picture. Glasshouses an all that.

Our thoughts? Whether you want to dress up as a sexy mechanic or a potato at Halloween – or any other night of the year for that matter – it’s entirely up to you.
