Miley Cyrus’ Mother Tish Files For Divorce From Billy Ray Cyrus

This is the third time the couple have filed for divorce.

It looks like things are all over for Tish and Billy Ray Cyrus.

Tish Cyrus filed for divorce from Billy Ray Cyrus last week after 28 years of marriage citing “irreconcilable differences” according to PEOPLE.

In a statement their rep told People, “It is after 30 years, five amazing children and a lifetime of memories, we have decided to go our separate ways — not with sadness, but with love in our hearts.”

“We have grown up together, raised a family we can be so proud of, and it is now time to create our own paths…We will always be family and look forward to a continued and loving shared experience as friends and parents. We have not come to this decision lightly or quickly but with so much going on in the world, we wanted to provide some clarity and closure, so we can remain focused on what is important,” the statement continued. “With Love and Hope… Tish and Billy Ray Cyrus.”

The pair are parents to Miley Cyrus, moving to LA with their family after Miley and Billy Ray landed starring roles in the iconic Disney Channel show Hannah Montanna, since then the family have become well known in showbusiness.

Billy Ray and Tish have since relocated with the supposedly not having lived together in two years.

TMZ broke the news of the split, but this isn’t the first time the couple have thought about parting ways. Billy Ray filed for divorce in 2010, but revoked it six months later, saying on The View, “I’ve dropped the divorce. I want to put my family back together.”

Tish then filed for Divorce in 2013 and the pair began attending councelling, but decided to give things another go. In a statement at the time they said, “We both went into couples therapy something we haven’t done in 22 years of being together, and it’s brought us closer together and really opened up our communication in amazing ways.”

But this time it looks like it’s for good. The pair married in 1993 and raised five children together, daughters Miley, 29, and Noah, 22, and son Braison, 27. Tish had two children from a previous relationship whom Billy Ray adopted a daughter named Brandi, 34, and a son Trace, 33.
