Nightmare! This Girl Spent Over €150 On Her Debs Dress And DID NOT Get What She Was Expecting
This might just be the worst online shopping fail we've seen yet.
Most of us have probably fallen victim to an online shopping fail or two in our time. After all, it’s not always easy to tell the quality or exact colour of an item simply by looking at a picture on a screen.
Sometimes we’ll get something that’s a little tighter or a different shade than what we were anticipating.
On other occasions, we’ll receive something which is DEFINITELY NOT what we ordered, which is exactly what happened to Alivia Briggs, a 17-year-old from Alabama.
Aliva ordered a dress, intended for her high school prom for the grand sum of €150 on a site called Allanhu.
“I was really excited because of how pretty the dress was,” Alivia told Seventeen.com.
But it was a different story when the dress arrived. “I thought they had sent me a bed sheet. Although the dress they sent me was pretty, it wasn’t what I had paid for.”
This is the dress that Alivia ordered…
And this is what she received…
Luckily for Alivia, all was not lost as she’d organised a back-up dress from her friend which she was able to wear to prom instead.
Yeah, we think we might stick to buying our stuff in-store.
