Noticed This? There’s A Strange Reason Why Kate Middleton Never Holds William’s Hand In Public

It’s all because of the Queen.

If you’re a fan of the royal family, you may have noticed that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge never hold hands in public. According to body language expert, Robin Kermode, this is because they’re taking cues from the Queen.

“The Queen rarely holds hands with her husband in public and this seems to have set an unwritten precedent for the other royals,” he explains.

So just because William’s granny doesn’t hold his grandad’s hand, means he can’t lock fingers with his wife. Seems a tad unfair.

Robin continues to say that this lack of public intimacy doesn’t impact on the couple’s relationship. William and Kate, who married in 2011, are very much in love.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, the expert says, “It is very clear that William and Kate are emotionally close, however, they do not seem to feel the need to prove their love – particularly when on official state business.

“They come across as a strong, independent couple and while they are always on show, they do not feel the need to “show” their love for each other to the world.”

Seems like they’re happy enough without handholding, so power to ’em.
