Okay, So Blue Are Apparently Doing A Reunion Tour Next Year

Now here's something we can all rise for

It seems 2021 is looking up for multiple reasons, the latest one being a Blue reunion tour is very much in the pipelines.

It comes as the band celebrated their 20th anniversary this year, teasing fans with the possibility of a tour in the near future, Duncan James said that the foursome may just have something up their sleeve.

Speaking with The Sun about their 20 years in the business and the strong friendship they still hold, Duncan said:

“We were wanting to do something for our 20th anniversary but at the moment lockdown has meant it’s been difficult to get together. It’s not been easy”

“There could be something in the pipeline as we’re really good mates.”

But, the good news doesn’t just stop at Duncan’s positive words, oh no. A source close to the band has also confirmed that 2021 is set to be a big year for the group:

“Getting to a huge milestone like their 20th anniversary is not something that they could allow to pass by without celebration.”

“They know they have a loyal fanbase who they love to entertain so it’s safe to say it’s going to be a Blue extravaganza in 2021,” they continued.

Casting your mind back to the early naughties, Blue first came on the scene in 2000, enjoying huge popularity with hits ‘One Love’ and ‘All Rise’, after five years of success they then parted ways in 2005. The group have all enjoyed solo careers since, and have reunited for projects here and there throughout the last 15 years, including their 2011 Eurovision song entry ‘I Can’.

Exact details of next year’s ‘reunion’ are yet to be released, but we will be sure to keep you posted in the meantime.
