Olivia Wilde Just Shared That Special Salad Dressing

We’ve just about calmed down from the Jason-Olivia/ nanny drama that went down earlier this week, and now miss Olivia Wilde has dropped another bombshell on us.

Leaving us with many questions and few answers, we’ve thankfully had the main one addressed – what is this infamous Olivia salad dressing?

If you’re not sure what I’m talking about, Olivia and Jason’s former nanny released a tell-all interview with the Daily Mail earlier this week in which she claimed that the couple’s split was quite messy. For context, the anonymous nanny claimed that one evening Olivia made Harry a salad with a special dressing and left her family home to go eat it with him. Leaving Jason upset, the nanny says that Jason lay in front of her car to stop her from leaving.

Jason and Olivia have released a joint statement dismissing everything that the nanny said as rubbish. But, we can only assume that this magical salad dressing does exist as Olivia took to her Instagram to share it.

Low-key shading the drama, Olivia shared an extract from the Nora Ephron book ‘Heartburn’ in which she shares a recipe for a salad dressing. It reads:

“Mix 2 tablespoons Grey Poupon mustard with 2 tablespoons good red wine vinegar. Then, whisking constantly with a fork, slowly add 6 table-spoons of olive oil, until the vinegarette is thick and creamy; this makes a very strong vinegarette that’s perfect for salad greens like arugula and watercress and endive.”

Will we be trying this out? Maybe. Are we hoping that it will bag us Harry Styles? also maybe.
