On Tinder? You Can Now Audition For Love Island With Just Your Profile

Interested in a summer of love? Course you are!

As we all know by now, Love Island is set to come back this summer in some capacity, hurrah.

Whether it’ll be the villa we all know and love in Mallorca, or a location in the UK like The Channel Islands due to Covid, it seems like regardless of venue, it’s full steam ahead with season seven.

And with getting the plan into motion, the casting is now well and truly underway.

Apparently, Love Island has seen a record number of signups this year, no shocker there, but it’s also looking at different ways they can scout the best of the best contestants for this year’s show.

As Love Island casts approximately 50 people a year, between the main contestants, the bombshells and the Casa Amor crew, it’s a lot of singletons and so, finding the right people takes time.

Usually it’s a mix of online applications and some clever scouting, but this year, Love Island has included a new way of entering the show… via your Tinder profile.

Apparently, the Mail Online is reporting that Tinder users will now see Love Island in their selection of potential matches and if they want to enter the show, all they have to do is swipe right.

Tinder will then go through all the applicants, putting forward a ‘priority list’ for Love Island’s consideration – how interesting.

Making life super simple, your profile and bio would act as your first audition and then after that, who knows, you could be on the telly in a matter of months!

As for other ways to apply to the show, well, applications are still open, but close April 30th, so it’s time to get thinking about whether or not you’re ready to couple up.

‘Tis all very exciting.
