Our First Glimpse Into The Lizzie McGuire Reboot Is Here

The early noughties were a magical time. Low rise jeans, Nelly Furtado and of course, Lizzie McGuire. So, when we heard the news that our favouite Disney gal of the early 2000’s was back, we couldn’t contain our excitement. Now, the first photo of the reboot has been shared and it finally feels real.

Earlier this year, Hilary Duff made headlines when she announced that the iconic series would be returning to our screens. Now, the behind the scenes photo has confirmed that all of McGuire family are back.

Yep, Hallie Todd, Robert Carradine and Jake Thomas will reprise their roles as mam Jo, dad Sam and brother Matt. How ADORABLE do they all look together, still?

We know that we will be re-joining Lizzie not as the teenager she once was, but as a 30-year-old living in New York, working her dream job as an apprentice decorator and also dating the perfect man. What could possibly go wrong?

Plus, to add even more excitement, there are rumours floating around that Lizzie’s BFFs Miranda and Gordo may even be jumping on board too. Actress LaLaine Vergara-Paras, who played Miranda, added fuel to the fire by sharing a screenshot of a text from Adam Lamberg (AKA Gordo):
