Penguins Allowed To Wander Freely Around Aquarium After It Closes Due To Covid-19
We have MORE adorable penguin content!
Can we all just take a moment for this penguin and how absolutely adorable he is?
As more businesses temporarily close for the time being while we try and stop the spread of the Coronavirus, some of our animal friends are benefitting from the closed doors and room to roam as seen below in Shedd Aquarium in Chicago.

“Some of the penguins went on a field trip to meet other animals at Shedd,” the aquarium wrote on Twitter.
Much to people’s delight on social media, the penguins can be seen waddling around looking into all the tanks and it feels like we’re watching “The Secret Life Of Pets”, getting to see what REALLY goes on behind closed doors when the humans leave.
Continuing, the aquarium gave us some details on the penguins in the above clip – Wellington.
At 32 years old, Wellington is no spring chicken (and not just because heās a penguin!) He is more than double the life expectancy of a rockhopper. Thanks to laser therapy and cataract surgeries, heās āstill got itā and can enjoy going on enriching adventures. (2/2) pic.twitter.com/nWY9MlR0lR

Earlier in the week, Shedd Aquarium shared more penguin content with us, showing them all buzzing with freedom as they ran around the grounds of the park.
The adventure continues! š§š§
This morning, Edward and Annie explored Sheddās rotunda. They are a bonded pair of rockhopper penguins, which means they are together for nesting season. Springtime is nesting season for penguins at Shedd, and this year is no different! (1/3) š pic.twitter.com/VdxN3oQAfeā Shedd Aquarium (@shedd_aquarium) March 16, 2020
