Is this your sign to get bangs? Is this our sign to get bangs?

Whatever way we look at it, Pippa O’Connor is doing some serious influencing with her latest post and we must admit we’re feeling like getting a little chop ourselves.

Sharing a snap to Instagram and rejoicing over the hairdressers being back open again after a long five months, Pippa said it was time for a little change, opting to add some bangs into her look as well as a fresh coat of blonde and we adore this new ‘do on the POCO boss.

Getting her hair done at Peter Mark’s, Pippa thanked the team by saying:

“I fancied a fringe #newhair. Thank you @hairbytray1 for making me feel good again.”

Over the past couple of months, Pippa has been spending lockdown at her home in Kildare with her two sons and husband, Brian Ormond.

Currently in the midst of some renovations, Pippa and Brian are planning to revamp their living room with some new coverings on furniture and cushions, as well as completely overhauling the garage.

For the living room, they’ll be going for different materials in soft greys, white and shades of blue.

Sharing a preview of some of the material, Pippa said, “I just thought ‘Chanel’ when I saw this fabric. It’s absolutely stunning.”

At the same time, the pair will be working on a much larger project as they transform the garage into a useable living space.

“When we moved into this house four years ago we had plans drawn up to convert the garage into a bedroom and ensuite,” she said.

“We decided not to do it at the time as it wasn’t on the priority list but lockdown got us thinking that we’d like to tackle this next.  So a few months ago, we cleared it out… well Brian did… and that in itself was a huge task.”

With an empty canvas, they can begin work on the new space – and we can’t wait to see what they do with the place.
