#ProjectHappy: Is This What Happy Sounds Like?
The UN have compiled a playlist of the world's happiest songs. Pharrell's Happy didn't make the list, so what did?
Ever noticed how a deadly tune can switch your mood just like that? Or how dancing around your kitchen to Tay Tay’s Shake It Off first thing in the morning is, like, the BEST way to start your day? Well, to mark International Day of Happiness some cheery peeps at the UN decided to make the world a little more smiley by compiling a list of the ultimate happy songs. So, prepare for feel-goods, because in no particular order, here are the happy tracks that made the list.
I Got You (I Feel Good), James Brown and His Family (1964)
(Your Love Keeps Lifting Me) Higher and Higher, Jackie Wilson (1967)
Three Little Birds, Bob Marley and the Wailers (1977)
Kiss, Prince and The Revolution (1986)
Independent Women Pt. 1, Destiny’s Child (2000)
Made to Love, John Legend (2013)
