“Provably Untrue”: Ed Westwick Responds To SECOND Sexual Assault Allegation

He denies both claims.

Two women have taken to social media this week to accuse Gossip Girl actor, Ed Westwick, of rape, but he vehemently denies it.

On Monday, actress Kristina Cohen accused him of sexually assaulting her three years ago. She claims she woke up from a nap with him on top of her, forcing himself on her.

He later denied the allegation, saying he’d never even met her. But then a second woman came forward with the same accusation. Aurélie Wynn alleged that Ed pushed her “face down” before taking advantage of her.

Ed responded to this second allegation saying, “It is disheartening and sad to me that as a result of two unverified and provably untrue social media claims, there are some in this environment who could ever conclude I have anything to do with such vile and horrific conduct. I have absolutely not, and I am cooperating with the authorities so that they can clear my name as soon as possible.”

Some people have misconstrued his use of the word ‘provably’ to be a misspelling of ‘probably,’ but what he actually means is that he can prove the claims are untrue.

It comes after a string of Hollywood men, including Harvey Weinstein and Kevin Spacey, were accused of sexual assault.
